Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Crescent University, Abeokuta Centre Postgraduate Degree (PG) and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

A. Master’s Degree Programme (MSc.)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
a) Academic Master’s Degree
b) Professional Master’s Degree
(Professional programmes are terminal).-
- Candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
- Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees from an approved university must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
- Candidates with at least a third class degree or HND plus University PGD with CGPA of 3.0/5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s degree programmes.
- Candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.
- Candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
- Candidates for professional Master’s degree programmes must obtain a minimum of second class lower division.
- Candidates with university degree in third class or HND plus a university PGD at credit level pass, (i.e. CGPA of 3.0/5.0) or 50% on weighted percentage average may be considered for admission into Professional Master’s degree programmes.
- Candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.

- All candidates must have five Credit passes including English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at ‘O’ Level.
- A candidate with a first degree in a relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized University with minimum of a second class lower division may be admitted provided the University matriculation requirement is satisfied.
- A candidate with an upper credit pass in the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), in a relevant Engineering discipline, from a recognized University may also be admitted to a Masters Degree Programme provided the University matriculation requirements are satisfied.
- Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) with at least s Second Class Lower Division.
- Candidates must demonstrate adequate intellectual capacity, maturity and effective decision making and problem solving potentials.

- Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees in Chemistry from Crescent University and approved universities must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
- The students from other streams holding bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a second class lower in related courses such as Geology, Environmental Management and Toxicology and Biochemistry may also apply provided such candidates took relevant courses in chemistry and passed them at the undergraduate level.
- Candidates with at least a third class degree or HND and university PGD with CGPA of 3.0/.5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s degree programmes.
- Candidates may be required to undergo a selection process. That is, candidates without background in chemistry may be required to take some courses at the lower level.
Biochemistry
- Candidates must have five credit passes including English, Mathematics and two other relevant science subjects at ‘O’ Level.
- Candidates with Bachelor’s degrees from an approved university must obtain a minimum of second class lower division with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0 for an academic programme.
- Candidates with at least a third class degree or HND plus University PGD with CGPA of 3.0/5.0 may be considered for admission into academic Master’s degree programmes.
- Admission is open to the students having Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry of Crescent University or other recognized universities with at least a second class lower degree with a CGPA of 3.0/5.0. The students from other streams holding bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a second class lower in related courses such as Biology, Botany, Zoology, Nutrition, Food Science and Biotechnology may also apply, providing such candidates took relevant courses in Biochemistry and passed them at the undergraduate level.
- Candidates may be required to undergo a selection process. That is, candidates without background in Biochemistry may be required to audit some courses at the lower level.

- Candidates must satisfy the matriculation requirements of the University including English Language.
- Candidates with Bachelors degree in Mass Communication from an approved university with its CGPA of not below 3.0 on a 5 points scale shall be considered for admission.
- Candidates with a minimum of second class lower degree in relevant disiplines and a CGPA of 3.00 on a five point scale.
- Candidates with a good Post Graduate Diploma (3.5 CGPA) in Mass Communication from accredited University shall be considered.
- Department of Economics
- M.Sc. Economics
- Matriculation requirements of individual universities which must be five (5) O-level credits including English.
- Candidates with at least 2nd Class honours Lower Division Bachelors degree from Crescent University, Abeokuta or any approved University.
- Candidates with a PGD at credit level pass (i.e. 3.5).
- Full-time: A Minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters
- Part-time: A minimum of six (6) semesters and a maximum of eight (8) semesters.

- Holders of HND in relevant programmes from approved institutions with a minimum of Upper Credit may also be considered for admission.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Possession of a Bachelors degree of not below Second Class Lower division in Journalism or Mass Communication or any other relevant disciplines from Crescent University, Abeokuta or any approved University by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
- • Take and pass the admission qualifying test conducted by the Department.
- Some years of professional media experience in the print and/or the electronic media will be an added advantage

- Candidates must have five credit passes including English and Mathematics at the ‘O’ level
- Candidates with Bachelors degree of not less than 3rd class honour degree from Crescent University, Abeokuta or any approved University by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
- Candidates with HND and/or professional qualifications cognate to Economics from a recognized institution with not less than upper credit.

- Full-time Diploma: Minimum of two (2) semesters and a maximum of four (4) semesters.
- Part-time Diploma: Minimum of four (4) semesters and a maximum of six (6) semesters.
